The first bridge to be built over the sea in India is an engineering marvel. It is expected that this eight-lane sea link with a twin carriageway will speed up road travel between Bandra and Worli.

So goodbye to traffic woes post January 2009, when the bridge is thrown open to the public.

ya right, but its going to be an expensive affair. around 150 bucks for a car to pass...which is technically good since it cuts down on almost an hour or more (in jam packed traffic situations) but i dont think a lot of everyday traffic would go from there, except if you’re company is paying for the pass or if you are one of the Ambani brothers!

:) but its a delight to look at!
