India Needs A Leader Like This!

The views of Patriotic Ex-Australian Prime Minister

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told to get out of Australia, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation’s mosques. Quote: ‘IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians.’

‘This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom’

‘We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society . Learn the language!’

‘Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.’

“We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.”

‘This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, ‘THE RIGHT TO LEAVE’.

‘If you aren’t happy here then LEAVE. We didn’t force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.’

I agree, Indian politicians are very much into their own world of settling grudges against the opposition parties. So, definitely India needs a leader like this.

In this context, I wish to quote in details what noted columnist Thomas L. Friedman wrote:

On Feb 6, 2006, three Pakistanis died in Peshawar and Lahore during violent street ptotests against Danish cartoons that had satirised the Prophet Mohammad. Moresuch mass protests followed weeks later. When Pakistanis and other Muslims are willing to take to the streets, even suffer death, to protest an insulting cartoon published in Denmark, is it fair to ask: Who in the Muslim world, who in Pakistan, is ready to take to the streets to protest the mass murders of real people, not cartoon characters, right next door in Mumbai?

After all, if 10 young Indians from a spliter wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party travelled by boat to Pakistan, shot up two hotels in Karachi and the central train station, killed at least 173 pople, and then, for good measure, murdered the imam and his wife at a Saudi-financed mosque while they were cradling their two=year-old son — purely because they were Sunni Muslims — where would we be today? The entire Muslim world would be aflame and in the streets.

Well said Anil. The problem with we Indians is that we never get our priorities right. When tough action is needed we start behaving like Gautam Buddha, we start talking about values,International norms etc.

And here lies the great difference between us and rest of the world. They have not only got their priorities right but also not hesitant in taking tough actions if needed.

I am not telling to copycat U.S. and others .But we still need to learn from their approach, especially the way they protect their national interests.Ironically, they are even ready to sabotage the sovereignty of nation if they feel that it’s coming in way of their interests and that too with the help of fabricated details.

And look at us.We have proofs side-by-side genuine reasons but can do nothing more other than having so-called friendly dialogue in a so-called friendly environment!!

We shall never realize that ” Laaton Ke Bhoot Batoen Se Nahi Manate ”.

Hats off to the Australian PM. He has dared to put things in the proper perspective. When muslims fight for the right to wear the veil/scarf or the ’hijab’ even in alien land, which has been generous enough to allow them to make a living, they are let off because the host nation feels that they should not hurt the sentiments of other religions. But, tolerance and courtesy must be reciprocated. An Australian can never enjoy a beer openly on the street in a muslim state.
The mood in India is exactly the same as the Australian PM’s. The people are no longer willing to put up with nonsense of any kind. The younger generations are well-educated, highly-skilled and extremely competent and competitive in their fields. They wish for a good and healthy economy and stability. Such acts are a waste of time, energy and effort for everybody. Nobody wants to waste time and energy now, they cant afford to.

Exactly my sentiments...and I think many other ordinary citizens of India who are completely fed up with the nonchalant attitude of the politicians of our country. When will they learn to speak like this? Excellent article Nishi...loved reading it.

TIMELY.HONEST.EXPLICIT.

I am ecstatic beyond words.

If we want that our country remains on track then please make arrangements to evict pseudo-secularists. They are the ones who have blocked the elimination of terrorists from India in name of harassment of minorities, in name of human rights etc.

I want know from these so-called custodians of minorities why the attempts to eliminate the terrorists are viewed as an attempt to wipe out minorities? Why the western countries accuse us of giving way to right-wing tendencies when they themselves have taken more strong measures to check the growth of anti-national elements in their own country?

Why are we pressurized in so many ways to surrender our national interests to honour the double-standards prevailing in the name of International norms ?

Great work Nishi.Keep it up!!

@Thanks Arvind. Yes, as a common citizen of the land I am fed-up, and I want to know what I can do at an individual-level to fight this threat-of-terror-all-the time.

We succumbed to the tactics of terrorists when we released five dreaded terrorists in Srinagar for the release of the Dr. Rubaiya Saeed, daughter of the first Muslim Home Minister of India Mufti Mohammad Saeed in 1989. The result, the ongoing insurgency in Jammu & Kashmir since then.

Then, under the stewardship of L.K. Advani, the prime minister-hopeful, who as the home minister of India was a party to the decision of releasing three dreaded international terrorists in exchange of airplane hostages in Kandahar.

Never had the USA succumbed to the terrorism. That is why it is strong and we Indians are weak on account of follies in the past.

Well said indeed...Either take it or leave it.The whole speech depicts the traits of an ideal leadership without any wavered talks ,promises or political jargon, unfortunately which is so common amongst the Indian leaders.

If he is IT, why his own voters kicked him out of Parliament ended effectively his political career if even his party won, which did not happen?

“‘This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this” – I am wondering Indians in drowns coming to Australia (and back) do not tell it how things really are.

And Indian Muslims are not less belonging to OUR COUNTRY, which is India than Aborigines to xenophobic racist neo-feudal prison under sky UK-kowtowing, built by land-grabbing “only-Anglos” Australia is.

Had one of India heard of Hitler?

And Hitler loved swastika.

So, in first instance, why not Hitler India is in need for?

Because Hitler was prepared to murder millions of people for no better reason than that he didn’t like them... he was prepared to bring destruction and death upon his own country because he had a psychotic desire to make the country in his own image and through this, to imperialistically conquer the world, because Hitler was a sexual pervert and India deserves much better than that.

As an Australian, I am extremely pleased to say that neither our former prime minister John Howard, nor our present Prime Minister Kevin Rudd made the statement attributed, first to the former and recently, to the latter.

Nor did former British prime minister Tony Blair, nor any of the other world leaders it has been attributed to.

The truth is, and this can be found on the website Hoax-Slayer, from whence I quote in part: ”...The words were originally intended for an American audience and were part of a longer piece penned by Barry Loudermilk, a US Air Force veteran and columnist for a local newspaper in the American state of Georgia. Loudermilk wrote the piece as a way of expressing his personal views on patriotism and immigration in post 9/11 America.”

”The article struck a chord with many readers in the US and elsewhere and soon spread far and wide by email and other means. At some point versions adapted to Australia, the UK, and elsewhere began circulating.”

Anyone familiar with Australia would immediately recognize that some of the comments just don’t fit the Aussie scene. Conversely, an American origin is imprinted all over it.

Best wishes to all!
