Don’t know about others, but I have certainly found from my personal experience that women bosses tend to share less empathy with their female subordinates. Strange but it is true.

It’s not strange Nishi, woman can tolerate less from another woman. Women themselves suffer from stress and headache more than men. So as a consequence they cause the same to other working under them (the Boss-giri!). It’s universall truth and none can deny.

@Sasmita, the reason I say strange is because one expects that women will be more sensitive to one of their own, instead of trying to create more difficulties in their lives

Nishi, I agree with Sasmita. Women tend to make lives of other women difficult...the trend can be noticed even in the famous tiffs of”saas-bahu”...maybe they feel their authority is being threatened. I hate to admit this, but even I have heard that male bosses are more co operative and sympathetic than the female ones.

A senior female journalist Bachhi Karkaria wrote that many of her subordinates say behind her back that she needs a hard f*** ; due to her behaviour towards them because she appeared to be rude, unco-operative, mean, bossy, fussy, harassing and putting unnecessary and unachievable demands on them.
